Love is in the air

LOVE IS IN THE AIR (John Paul Young)

Love is in the air
Everywhere I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
-And I don't know if I'm being foolish
-Don't know if I'm being wise
-But it's something that I must believe in
-And it's there when I look in your eyes
Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea
-And I don't know if I'm just dreaming
-Don't know if I feel sane
-But it's something that I must believe in
-And it's there when you call out my name
---(Chorus)
---Love is in the air
---Love is in the air
---Oh oh oh
---Oh oh oh
Love is in the air
In the rising of the sun
Love is in the air
When the day is nearly done
-And I don't know if you're an illusion
-Don't know if I see it true
-But you're something that I must believe in
-And you're there when I reach out for you
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
-But it's something that I must believe in
-And it's there when I look in your eyes

Remember it? Like it? Now do a simple thing:
Replace "love" with "radioactivity".
Much, much more to worry than natural disasters. This is man made, folks. Fukushima in Japan or wherever. The final arrogance to think we could put the atom on leash.

  1. ..true but still there are some differences compared for example to how Russians behaved in Chernobyl. They had an accident and didn't inform anyone till the Scandinavians found increased concentration in radioactive elements, while the Japs were hit by an unimaginable earthquake and in general are much more decent in the way they react, behave and inform.

Well,...what matters is that the result is always tragic...more than tragic...

  2. Although I believe we're not being told the whole truth, I do agree that the Japanese government is behaving much better than the silent Russians at the time of Chernobyl. They are very proactive but, one way or another, the whole humanity must live in hope that incidents just won't happen. The worst, idiotic human invention may force many a worthless mass exodus.
